Sérgio Lopes

 Born in São Paulo in 1960. His first professional experience starts as Assistant in "Oscar Wild Arquitetura e Urbanismo" in 1976, Rio de Janeiro. Between 1980 and 1990, reaffirm his artistic vocation in the grafic area, working as the ilustrator in the "Folha de São Paulo", as Art Director in J.W. Thompson and with Art and Creation Director of "Outono Comunicações", where he created importants works of corporative image.
   In 1986 worked as a Fashion Designer, always keeping a vanguardist mind and also innovating every collection of Ellus, Fórum, Hollywood, Fila and others what has his colaboration. His Artist Character never acommodate it, and when place the world upside down, in the paint or in the scraps, dictate a new personality is strong, carefully, mistaken, magic, essentially when show to us in yours canvas a realism or abstract.
   Since 1990, dedicated to paint, although of his trials of a decade (1980-1990), Sergio Lopes has a selective artistic production, but rich, drafts what share with his pupils of EPA - "Escola Panamericana de Arte".
